Salon Pay was once again honoured to be a sponsor of a very special event for Secret Salon Society, Confident and Calm. Hosted by founder Kristy Mckenzie, this intimate event saw Salon Owners from right around Australia learning how to become more confident leaders of their businesses, and how to better manage the stress that comes with owning a salon.
Guest Speakers were Melanie Else, Positive Psychologist, and Bree Stedman, Emotional Confidence Coach, joined with Panel members, Natalie Papadopoulos, The Parlour Room, Ashleigh Scott, The Facialist and Maria Unali, Salon Kiin, and in an event first, Lyndy Jewell, Energy Healer & Psychic spent time with each and every attendee.
Salon Pay Operations Manager, Sally Turpin was thrilled to be in attendance and contributed during the Panel Hot Seat session. The event was a huge success, and we look forward to being involved with more events in the future.

The Alannah and Madeline Foundation was set up in memory of Alannah and Madeline Mikac, aged six and three, who were tragically killed with their mother and 32 others at Port Arthur, Tasmania, on 28 April 1996. The foundation aims to care for children who have experienced or witnessed serious violence, reduce the incidence of bullying, cyberbullying and other cyber risks, and, advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children.
Since November 2017, Salon Pay has helped contribute to thousands of Buddy Bags being delivered to children in need across Australia. Buddy Bags are backpacks filled with basic, essential items for thousands of children in emergency accommodation.
We are so honoured to be able to support this foundation and hope to help increase awareness around family violence and support the most vulnerable in our community.

A Secret Party! Why would you not want to be involved? Salon Pay was delighted to be a major sponsor at The Secret Fox Education, ‘Secret After Party’ in June 2018 alongside GHD, O&M, Excellent Edges and many more amazing brands. Salon Pay officially launched our partnership with Afterpay at Hair Expo over the Queens Birthday long weekend in Melbourne. The stand saw thousands of visitors, and it was great to deliver our message to keen hairdressers.
Hair Expo is the place to come if you are a hairdresser, salon owner or industry supplier. It was an inspiring weekend of everything hair. From the mind-blowing creations of international guests to new product launches and the latest in hairdressing technique on the expo floor, there was something new to see at every turn.
Hair Expo brings the industry together under one roof and offers the chance for hairdressers to meet their idols. It was a hugely successful event, and a wonderful opportunity to launch with our newest partner.
The city that never sleeps saw eager salon owners from Australia and New Zealand descend on the doorstep of the Park Lane Hotel, right opposite Central Park. Salon Pay was thrilled to support the first International Secret Salon Society Event, New York New Dreams last month.
The event was designed to teach Salon Owners all about the importance of branding. How to elevate your current brand, and how to establish a personal brand.
Guest speakers included Tabatha Coffey, Tracey Hughes, Rodney Cutler and Esther Kiss with a special appearance by lipstick queen, Poppy King.
We love to collaborate with the industries best, and support Salon Owners to be the best business owners they can be.
